A few weeks ago I wrote a post about some of the features and changes we've been working on over the past few months. Today I'd like to take this opportunity to update you about a few more of these.
Since launching Simply Do Ideas in January, we've found that lots of universities, colleges, and schools love using the platform to allow groups of entrepreneurs to build ideas for enterprise curriculum, in events, competitions, and more.
To help encourage these great ideas, we made some changes so that teams and groups can now work on their ideas together and use the new feedback threads to discuss them.
The creator of an idea can invite any number of other people from within their organisation as collaborators, who can view and edit the idea as if they were the ones to create it.
Communication and notifications
Recently we've been developing lots of ways in order to make Simply Do Ideas easier for staff to use and manage. With this aim in mind, we've built a suite of communication tools to enable staff administrators to easily get in touch with their users.
Administrators can create announcements that can be sent to flexible combinations of users within their organisation - either by selecting groups or individuals (or both!).
These announcements can be sent immediately or scheduled for a time and date in the future, and they can be sent via email and/or through our new in-app notification service.
Announcements can also be configured to be automatically sent whenever someone completes a particular action - for example; when a user registers an account, creates an idea, joins a group, and so on.
